Milestone Installation of Sim&Size at SIS Can Tho Marks Regional Rollout

We’re proud to announce the first installation of the latest version of Sim&Size at Stroke International Services (SIS), located in Can Tho, Vietnam. This important milestone marks the start of a broader deployment strategy for Sim&Size across the Asia-Pacific region.

This collaboration began through early exchanges between our team, Siemens ASEAN Team and Dr. Tran Chi Cuong, founder of SIS and local director of LINNC Asia 2025. Known for his leadership in neurovascular innovation, Dr. Cuong quickly recognized the potential of Sim&Size in enhancing daily clinical workflow and patient-specific planning. From initial discussions to full execution, this project was made possible through a strong clinical partnership and mutual commitment to advancing care.

The installation process involved close coordination with the SIS teams and Siemens local team. It included full integration of Sim&Size into the Siemens ARTIS Icono workstation, ensuring seamless access from the imaging station. We were present on-site to guide each phase—from setup to configuration and testing—ensuring full compatibility and optimal performance. The collaborative environment and strong engagement from SIS and Dr. Cuong played a key role in the success of this deployment.

This installation was also featured during a dedicated session at LINNC Asia 2025, where it drew significant interest from clinical leaders. It underscores SIS Can Tho’s position as a regional reference center, and one of the first institutions worldwide to benefit from the most recent version of Sim&Size.

This deployment is part of a growing rollout across Asia-Pacific it reflects our continued efforts to bring advanced, simulation-driven tools to physicians throughout the region.

Sim&Size™ supports simulation-based planning in modern interventional neuroradiology, with a focus on improving precision in the intracranial aneurysm treatment. With Sim&Size, users can simulate a wide range of neurovascular devices, including flow diverters, intrasaccular devices, and combinations of multiple devices—such as stent-assisted coiling. The solution is increasingly integrated within the patient care pathway, allowing physicians to support procedure planning using patient-specific imaging.

The latest version installed at SIS includes several key features designed to simplify and accelerate simulation workflows:

• Hyperspace Mode: enables faster access to simulation while remaining full control.

• Overlay Functionality: integrated directly with Siemens ARTIS Icono machine, enabling real-time projection of simulated devices to facilitate continuity between pre-procedural planning and intra-procedural visualization.

We remain committed to supporting physicians in Asia-Pacific through meaningful partnerships, advanced simulation tools, and training solutions that meet the demands of today’s neurointerventional practice.
